Found an ill, injured or orphaned animal?

Call WildCare at 415-456-SAVE (7283) if you've found an animal or if you have a wildlife question or concern. Operators are available from 9am to 9pm, seven days a week.

Wildlife Hospital

Our Wildlife Hospital cares for over 3,500 wild animals a year and provides ongoing care for our patients seven days a week, fifty-two weeks a year.

School Programs

WildCare’s Terwilliger Nature Education Programs provide Bay Area teachers with environmental education opportunities inspired by the legacy of Elizabeth Terwilliger.

Get your kids back outside! Wildlife Camp provides campers with an unforgettable wildlife experience, including live animal visits from our rescued wildlife ambassadors, animal-themed games, nature crafts, nature excursions and much more! Register for Wildlife Camp now!

Volunteer

Volunteer as a Wildlife Camp Assistant (for Teens)

High school students ages 14 - 18 will work with our Summer Camp teachers and aides to provide fun and exciting nature and wildlife experiences for younger campers. Apply now!

WildCare's Wildlife Ambassadors are our nonreleaseable educational animal who live full-time at WildCare. Learn to care and provide enrichment for these amazing animals. Apply now!

Volunteer in WildCare's Wildlife Hospital

On December 1, 2022, WildCare will once again begin accepting applications for NEW Wildlife Hospital Volunteers! Qualified applicants will be invited to work hands-on with the animals in our care. Learn more about volunteering in the Wildlife Hospital and apply starting 12/1/22!
