SECTION 6: NON-DISCRIMINATION NOTICE

As a matter of policy, and although WildCare is a nonprofit organization that is not a “business” subject to the CCPA/CPRA, WildCare voluntarily commits not to treat you differently for submitting a privacy request.

WildCare will not:

Deny you services
Charge you different prices or rates for services
Provide you a different level or quality of services
Suggest that you may receive a different price, rate, level, or quality of services

We may, however, charge different prices or rates, or provide a different level or quality of services, if that difference is reasonably related to the value provided to you by your personal information.

SECTION 7: RESPONSE TIMELINE

Although WildCare is a nonprofit organization and is not a “business” subject to these statutory response deadlines, as a matter of good faith we will aim to acknowledge receipt of your request within 10 business days and to respond to your request within 45 days of receipt. If we need additional time (which we anticipate would not exceed a further 45 days), we will endeavor to inform you of the reason and expected timeframe in writing.

If we are unable to verify your identity or authority to make the request, we will let you know and, where practicable, explain what additional information would assist us.
