Fundraising Disclosure Statement

WildCare is committed to efficiency and transparency. We communicate with our supporters, donors, and prospective donors by email, postal mail, phone, social media, and other means, both to request contributions to our cause and to educate the public on our mission.

All of our communications include useful, timely, and interesting information to help people live well with wildlife. Communications also often include updates about current wildlife advocacy efforts, volunteer opportunities at WildCare, upcoming events, and available programs.

These efforts help advance our mission to deliver world-class medical care in our open admission wildlife hospital, together with exceptional environmental education, community engagement, and effective advocacy for the protection of wildlife and our shared habitat.

As a result, in accordance with the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) guidelines and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) guidance, WildCare allocates a portion of our fundraising costs to program services.

As a nonprofit organization that is exempt from federal taxation, we ensure our donors’ money is spent as efficiently and effectively as possible while still ensuring we help people everywhere live well with wildlife.
